These feature pendants in the new City Hall’s chamber and committee rooms are Opal Type X. A timeless decorative product with a high output light source, wide flood optic and frosted acrylic diffuser; providing directional downlight and an ambient glow.

At time of opening, the building was an exhibition center for sustainable architecture and celebrated as the first building in the world to reach the highest sustainable award level with LEED and BREEAM.

Working closely with Architectiure 00 on a new lighting scheme, still with sustainability at the core, we designed a bespoke element to allow the rod to be disconnected for easy installation and maintenance. The brushed brass anodized finish compliments the welcoming interior.
